Waiting for an image.

Export re-encodes the image and removes common embedded metadata. File size and appearance can vary by format and quality.

Your file is processed on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.

When to use it

This page takes GIF as input. Choose WebP to publish images on a website or app that supports this format.

What changes in the result?

Transparency is retained. Set quality from 40% to 95% and inspect the result: lower quality can lose detail, and a smaller file is not guaranteed.

If conversion does not work

Check that the file really is GIF, not just renamed. Animated files are not accepted. If decoding fails or memory is low, try a smaller image in an updated browser.

How to use this tool

  1. Choose an image or drop it into the converter.
  2. Review the file and adjust the available option.
  3. Start the conversion, then download the result.

Private by design

The image stays on your device. ZivelaConv does not upload it for this conversion.

Current limit: one supported static image up to 20 MB, 8,192 pixels per side and 16 megapixels. Browser support and memory can lower the practical limit on some phones.
