When to use it

What changes in the result?

BMP does not preserve transparency: transparent areas become white. The output is a 24-bit BMP and may be larger than the input.

If conversion does not work

Check that the file really is WEBP, not just renamed. Animated files are not accepted. If decoding fails or memory is low, try a smaller image in an updated browser.
